Evan is a big talent that has flown under the radar a bit in recent years. His two years in the WorldTour with Astana followed a breakout 2012 season in which he won several time-trials including the U23 National Championships. He showed his climbing potential towards the end of 2015 with strong performances in the mountains of Colorado and Alberta. In 2016 with Team Optum, he hopes to further realize his potential in the mountains while also getting back to his best in the TTs in order to put together some strong GC performances.

I’m extremely neat and organized. One teammate has compared my suitcase to Russian nesting dolls.
Just be yourself and don’t be afraid of what people will think.
